1. Scope

This policy covers the Recipe Goose app and this website. The app helps you import, create, edit, and organize recipes. This website is an informational page and does not have a sign-up form.

2. Information we handle

• Recipe content: links you submit, imported or manually entered ingredients and instructions, notes, cookbook names, ratings, and photos you choose to save.
• Guest workspace information: an identifier and session credential that let the app connect you to your recipe library without an account.
• Local app data: unfinished drafts, preferences, and a limited cache of your library may be stored on your device or in your browser so you can continue where you left off.
• Technical information: requests to the app service or this website may produce basic server records such as IP address, request time, and error information needed to run and protect the service.

The website itself has no contact form, advertising scripts, or analytics scripts in its current version.

3. How we use it

We use this information to import and display recipes, save changes to your library, keep your session working, troubleshoot problems, and protect the service. When you ask the app to import a link, our service requests that page to look for recipe details. When you save an imported photo, the app stores a copy with your recipe.

4. Sharing and outside sites

Recipe Goose uses hosting and infrastructure providers to operate the app and website. When you submit a recipe link, the source website receives a request from our service. If you open a link to a source website, that site receives your visit and its own privacy policy applies. We do not put advertising or third-party tracking scripts on this landing page.

5. Storage and your choices

You can edit or delete saved recipes in the app. You can also delete cookbooks; the app lets you choose whether to keep recipes that are only in that cookbook. Guest access depends on the session stored on your device or browser. If you clear that storage or lose the device, you may lose access to the guest library.

Saved recipes and photos remain in the service until you delete them or the service is closed. Operational records and backups may persist for a limited period after deletion. Exact retention periods and a guest-workspace deletion request process must be finalized before public launch.

We may update this policy as Recipe Goose changes. The date at the top will show when it was last revised.
